Question 1

What exactly is BrandBnk?

Accepted Answer

BrandBnk is a brand intelligence platform for freelance creatives and agencies. It monitors 1,000+ UK brands across six signal types: hiring activity, ad activity, product launches, funding rounds, rebrands, and open briefs. When a brand starts showing intent to spend on creative work, you get the alert. You find out weeks before a brief is circulated.

Question 2

How is this different from LinkedIn or Google Alerts?

Accepted Answer

LinkedIn and Google Alerts give you raw, unfiltered information. BrandBnk gives you intent intelligence. We combine multiple signals at once, so instead of seeing that a brand posted a job, you see that it hired a Creative Director, ramped up its Meta ads, and launched a new product line all in the same 3-week window. That cluster is what tells you a brief is coming. No other tool joins those dots automatically.

Question 3

Is the data legal? Are you scraping anything you shouldn't be?

Accepted Answer

Everything BrandBnk surfaces comes from publicly available sources: job boards (LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, Glassdoor), official advertising transparency tools (Meta Ads Library, Google Ads Transparency Centre, TikTok Creative Centre), funding databases (Crunchbase, Companies House), and public press. We do not scrape private data, access restricted systems, or use any grey-area sources. We are fully GDPR compliant.

Question 4

How fresh is the data?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the signal type. Hiring signals are updated every 4 hours. Ad activity every 6 hours. Open briefs and opportunity signals every 2 hours. Funding rounds and product launches are updated daily. Every signal card shows you exactly when it was last verified.

Question 5

What is an intent score?

Accepted Answer

The intent score is our combined measure of how strongly a brand is signalling imminent creative spend, on a scale from 0 to 100. A score above 75 means multiple signals are firing at the same time. For example, a brand hiring creative leadership while ramping up its ads. That combination is one of the strongest signs of an upcoming brief. Scores above 90 are your highest-priority opportunities.

Question 6

Will this work for my niche or sector?

Accepted Answer

BrandBnk tracks brands across all sectors: FMCG, tech, fashion, food and drink, fitness, finance, retail, hospitality, and more. You can filter your dashboard by sector, brand size, and signal type so you only see the opportunities that match your speciality. The signal intelligence works regardless of what kind of creative work you do.

Question 7

I'm a freelancer, not an agency. Is this for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The Freelancer plan is built specifically for solo creatives: photographers, directors, designers, videographers, copywriters. Early sign-ups get it at £15/month, then it's £25/month. The signals and pitch guidance work the same way whether you're a one-person studio or a 50-person agency, and it's designed to replace hours of manual LinkedIn prospecting every week.

Question 8

What does "pitch guidance" mean?

Accepted Answer

When a brand crosses our intent threshold, BrandBnk doesn't just tell you they're worth pitching. It tells you how. You'll see which signals fired, what they typically mean, who the key decision-maker is, what angle to lead with, and what the optimal contact window looks like. You still write the pitch. You still own the relationship. We just give you the context to make it land.

Question 9

When will BrandBnk launch?

Accepted Answer

We're in an invite-only early access phase right now. Early sign-ups lock in a £15/month founder rate, regardless of where pricing goes at full launch. Once the founding spots are gone, the Freelancer plan is £25/month. We're onboarding in batches as we scale the platform. If you're on the waitlist, you'll hear from us at hello@brandbnk.com.

Question 10

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. No contracts, no lock-ins. You can cancel at any time by getting in touch (self-serve cancelling in your account settings is coming) and it takes effect at the end of your current billing period. One thing to know: founding members who cancel and later re-subscribe come back at the current pricing, not the founding rate. So it's worth staying active if you want to keep the £15/month locked in.

Question 11

Do you offer a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Not right now. We're in early access and onboarding is invite-only. Joining the waitlist while founding spots last gets you £15/month instead of the standard £25/month. We'd rather give founding members a proper long-term discount than a short-term trial at full price.

Question 12

What happens to my founding rate if you raise prices?

Accepted Answer

Nothing changes for you. Your founding rate is locked for the lifetime of your subscription as long as you stay on a paid plan. The standard Freelancer price is £25/month, and even if that goes up, you'll still pay £15/month.
